They really prove to be irritating when they just interfere with our normal life processes. Sometimes they enter our bird feeder and then, interfere with your crops and can sometimes also eat your favorite pet's food. So it's necessary to make a suitable squirrel tap for this purpose.

You are required to have various things for making it. They include 16 pieces of 25 x 3 mm angled steel, six pieces of 1 x 2 inch welded steel mesh, two pieces of 25 inch 8 mm steel rods, two hinges, one 20 inch piece of 8 mm steel rod and a tie wire.

For getting started with the process of making homemade squirrel trap, you are first required to tie the box carefully. You can employ to use nylon cable ties for making the process simple and easy. You should cross check that the box is supportive enough to be in its shape when you are welding it. Then, you are required to take out the two pieces each of 13 inch tubes and 14 inch square tubes. Then, just bring them in the shape of square and weld them. Just repeat the process with all the steel tubes.

Then, you are advised to weld the opening of the cage with the squares and at the same time, a part of the mesh for the door. Then, take two guide rods and connect them with wire mesh box's outer edge. Then, the next step required to be followed is the welding of locking rod. This will help in triggering of the locking rod which will help in proper securing of the door.
