Squirrel Deterrent
|
Squirrels belong to the family of rodents, located during the Eucene era for first time in history. From Eocene to Miocene, squirrels were found to live in Eurasia, Africa, America, and also in Australia. There are many sorts of squirrels, the tree squirrels and ground squirrels, also the hind limbs, and forelimbs which live mostly in forests, and hind limbs mostly live on the ground. Squirrels that live on trees are wilder while the ground ones are less wild can be closer to man than the wild ones. Squirrel deterrent, are basically brown or grey brown in colour, and have bushy tails slender bodies, and big shiny and clever eyes. They eat basically plants and are herbivores, but living wild in the forest can also eat vertebrates. They cannot be easily domesticated by man, almost not at all, and they are one of the species that are quite independent, and ‘'adventurous''.. They have claws up to 6 toes, and they are too flexible in movement, having themselves quite a good vision. They vary in size, the most world ones have longer and larger bodies, up to 73 cm, while the smaller ones have 8-10 cm, and they weigh up to 5 kg on the average. They breed once a year, their babies are small, helpless and blind upon birth, and the females take care of them until they grow up, and can give birth themselves, within 9 months after they come to world. Squirrels are easily adapting to environment, and can hardly be victims by hunters, as they move too fast. They belong to some species, between mice and rabbits - (belonging to the herbivorous or even carnivorous a little bit, mainly the wild ones. Their basic enemies in forest are foxes, and they are in a competitive state between each other, and can be easily chased and killed by them, unless they run fast.
Today squirrel deterrent have survived, due to kind of ‘'life'' they live, their freedom, flexibility and cleverness. Squirrels can eat your birds, as bird chasing species, so if you are afraid of them for your small birds, you can use a trap with red pepper flakes, also more simply, you can just put in the trap, those herb species that mostly squirrels eat, such as wild plants, such as mushrooms, or why not, just cheese, like mice! As they are rodents, they can easily eat it and be trapped.. They can be a bit ‘'detestable'' species, but not so much as mice, and you can also make a special ‘'meal'' for them, so this will squirrel deterrent them from eating your birds or bite your hens, but this way, they might get ‘'spoilt'' so that those ‘'friends'' might return to your yard, so if you live in a country house, just don't live birds in ages outside, also put up a fence, so they will not come back again!. |
